This the third ship to carry the name HMS Peterell was a 16-gun, sloop.

Built by Wilson of Frindsbury, launched 04-Mar-1794, 105ft long, 28ft wide and of 365 tons builders measurement.

Used for harbour service from 1817.

Sold 11-Jun-1827.

Won the Battle Honours: Minorca 1798, 'Ligurienne' 1800 and Egypt 1801.
