This the fifth ship to carry the name HMS Panther was a
torpedo boat
destroyer. Built by Laird, laid down 19-May-1896, launched 21-Jan-1897, and completed Jan-1898. Went to the Mediterranean 1902 and returned to the UK 1906. Sold 07-Jun-1920.
