HMS Nizam (1941) DD  (2nd)

    
This the second ship to carry the name HMS Nizam was an N Class, destroyer.

Built by John Brown on the Clyde, laid down 27-Jul-1939, launched 04-Jul-1940, and commissioned 08-Jan-1941.

On completion was manned by the Royal Australian Navy.

Returned to Royal Navy Sep-1946, and continued in service.

Arrived 16-Nov-1955 for breaking up at Ward of Greys.

Won the Battle Honours: Malta Convoys 1941, Crete 1941, Libya 1941 and Okinawa 1945.
