This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Myrmidon was a wooden screw gunvessel. Used as a  survey vessel from 1884.

Built at Chatham Dockyard and designed as a wooden screw gunvessel, laid down 24-Jul-1860,  launched 05-Jun-1867 and completed Oct-1867.

Sold Apr-1889 at Hong Kong.
