This the first ship to carry the name HMS Myrmidon was a sixth rate, 22-gun, ship.

Built at Deptford Dockyard, launched 09-Jun-1781, 114ft long, 31ft wide and of 481 tons builders measurement.

Used for harbour service from 1798.

Broken up Apr-1811.
