This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Kestrel was a
torpedo boat destroyer. Built by Thomson of Clydebank, laid down 02-Sep-1896, launched 25-Mar-1898 and completed Apr-1900. Served entirely in home waters. Sold 17-Mar-1921.
