This the third ship to carry the name HMS Jersey was a fourth rate, 48-gun, ship-of-the-line.

Built by Moore 7 Nye of East Cowes, launched 24-Nov-1698, 132ft long, 34ft wide and of 677 tons builders measurement.

Hulked Aug-1731.

Sunk 27-May-1763.
