HMS Java (1806)  (1st)
5th Rate 32-gun

This the first ship to carry the name HMS Java was a 32 gun, fifth rate, ship.

Originally Dutch (Maria Religersbergen) and of 850 tons builders measurement. Captured 18-Oct-1806 by HMS Caroline in the Indian Ocean.

Foundered Feb-1807 off Rodriguez Island in the Indian Ocean.
