This the third ship to carry the name HMS Hyacinth was an 18-gun, sloop.

Built at Plymouth Dockyard, launched 06-May-1829, 110ft long, 31ft wide and of 435 tons builders measurement.

Used as a coal hulk from 01-Jun-1860.

Breaking up completed at Portsmouth 27-Nov-1871.

Won the Battle Honour: China 1841-42.
