This the first ship to carry the name HMS Hotspur was a fifth rate, 36-gun, ship.

Built by Parsons, of Warsash, launched 13-Oct-1810, 145ft long, 38ft 6in wide and of 952 tons builders measurement.

Broken up Jan-1821.
