HMS Gibraltar (1860) (5th)

This the fifth ship to carry the name HMS Gibraltar was a
first rate, screw, 101-gun, ship-of-the-line. Built at Devonport Dockyard, launched 16-Aug-1860, 252ft long, 58ft wide, of 3,716 tons builders measurement and displacing 5,724 tons. Reduced to 85 guns 1862,(1 x 110pdr, 36 x 8in, 4 x 70pdr, 12 x 40pdr and 32 x 32pdr guns). Loaned as Training Ship and renamed TS Grampian 1889. Sold 1899.
