HMS Furious (1797) (1st)

This the first ship to carry the name HMS Furious was a
12-gun, gunvessel, (also known as Gunboat No 23). Built by Perry of Blackwall, launched 31-Mar-1797, 76ft long, 23ft wide and of 169 tons builders measurement. Armed with 2 x 24pdr guns and 10 x 18pdr carronades. Sold Oct-1802.
