HMS Flora (1895) CC  (4th)

    
This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Flora was a 2nd Class, protected Cruiser.

Built at Pembroke Dockyard, laid down 1891, launched 21-Nov-1893 and completed 1895.

On completion remained at Devonport in reserve 1895-96. Used for trooping duty to Australia 1896-97, then Flagship on the South America Station 1898-1901. Returned to the UK at Devonport 1901-02.

To the pacific Station 1902-04, returned to the UK 1904-05 and final active duty was to the China Station 1905-13.

Returned to the UK and placed on the disposal list. 1914. Used as a workshop at Devonport from 1915 and renamed Indus II.

Sold 12-Dec-1922 and broken up at Dover.
