This the first ship to carry the name HMS Electra was a 16-gun, brig-sloop.

Built by Betts of Mistleythorn, launched 22-Jan-1806, 93ft long, 26ft wide and of 285 tons builders measurement. Stranded 25-Mar-1808 on coast of Sicily.

Salvaged and sold 1808 in Malta.
