This the sixth ship to carry the name HMS Diamond was a fifth rate, 38-gun ship.

Built at Chatham Dockyard, launched 16-Jan-1816, 150ft long, 40ft 6in wide and of 1,067 tons builders measurement.

Burnt by accident at Portsmouth 18-Feb-1827.

Wreck broken up Jun-1827.
