This the eighth and latest ship to carry the name HMS Devonshire
was a County Class, guided missile armed destroyer.
Built by Cammell Laird, launched 10-Jun-1960, and commissioned 1962. Appeared at the Silver Jubilee Review 1977. Paid off 1978, and sunk as a target, in the English Channel 17-Jul-1984.
