This the sixth ship to carry the name HMS Cygnet was an 18-gun, sloop.

Originally French (Guirlande), captured Jul-1758, 111ft long, 28ft 6in wide and of 386 tons builders measurement.

Sold 1768 in South Carolina.

Won the Battle Honour: Havana 1762.
