HMS Curacoa (1809)  (1st)

This the first ship to carry the name HMS Curacoa was a fifth rate, 36-gun ship.

Built by Kidwell of Itchenor, launched 23-Sep-1809, 145ft long, 38ft 6in wide and of 956 tons builders measurement.

Reduced to 24 guns at Chatham Jun-1831.

Broken up Mar-1849
