This the eighth ship to carry the name HMS Clyde was a River
Class, offshore patrol vessel. Built by VT Shipbuilding, laid down 2005, launched 14-Jun-2006 and commissioned 11-Nov-2006. On completion served as Falkland Islands Patrol Vessel. In service Mar-2012.
