This the third ship to carry the name HMS Clyde was a fifth rate, 46-gun, ship.

Built at Woolwich Dockyard, launched 09-Oct-1828, 152ft long, 40ft wide, of 1,081 tons builders measurement and displacing 1,447 tons.

Used as an RNVR drillship from Aug-1870.

Sold 05-Jul-1904.
