This the second ship to carry the name HMS Cherokee was a 10
gun, brig sloop, the name ship of a class of 101 vessels. Built by Perry, Wells & Green of Blackwall, laid down Dec-1807 and launched 24-Feb-1808. Sold for breaking up 02-Mar-1828.
