This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Calypso was a sixth rate, 20-gun ship.

Built at Chatham Dockyard, launched May-1845, 120ft long, 37ft 6in wide and of 731 tons builders measurement.

Breaking up completed 29-Jan-1866 by Castle & Beech of Charlton.
