HMS Caesar (1793)  (1st)
3rd Rate 80-gun

    
This the first ship to carry the name HMS Caesar was a third rate, 80-gun ship-of-the-line.

Built at Plymouth Dockyard, launched 16-Nov-1793, 181ft long, 50ft 6in wide and of 1,992 tons builders measurement.

Used as an army depot Feb-1814.

Broken up Feb-1821.

Won the Battle Honour: First of June 1794, Gut of Gibraltar 1801, Bay of Biscay 1805 and Basque Roads 1809.
