HMS Blenheim (1894) CC  (4th)

    
This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Blenheim was a 1st Class Protected Cruiser.

Built by Thames Iron Works of Blackwall, laid down Oct-1888, launched 05-Jun-1890, and completed 26-May-1894.

On completion served with the Channel Fleet 1894-98. Placed into reserve 1898-1901, then moved to the China Station 1901-04.

Converted to a Destroyer Depot Ship 1906-06.

Used in this capacity in the Home Fleet 1906-13, Mediterranean 1913-20. Then as a depot ship for reserve Minesweepers at Harwich and later Sheerness 1921-25.

Sold 13-Jul-1926.

Won the Battle Honour: Dardanelles 1915-16.
