HMS Blanche (1890) CC  (8th)

    
This the eighth ship to carry the name HMS Blanche was a torpedo cruiser.

Built at Pembroke Dock, laid down May-1888, launched 06-Sep-1889, and completed 1890.

On completion went to the East Indies 1890-91, then the Cape Station 1891-94 with detachments to Witu 1893 and Juba River 1894.

Returned to the UK at Devonport 1894-96. To the Mediterranean 1896-97 after which she returned to the UK and refit 1898-1900.

Returned to the Cape Station again 1900-03, South Atlantic Station 1903-04.

Returned to the UK and laid up at Devonport 1904-05.

Sold 11-Jul-1905.
