This the first ship to carry the name HMS Barham was a third rate, 74-gun ship-of-the-line.

Built by Perry, Wells & Green of Blackwall, launched 08-Jul-1811, 176ft long, 48ft 6in wide and of 1,761 tons builders measurement.

Reduced to 50-guns Dec-1826.

Broken up Sep-1840.
