This the second ship to carry the name HMS Bacchante was a fifth rate, 38-gun, ship.

Built at Deptford Dockyard, launched 16-Mar-1811, 154ft long, 39ft 6in wide and of 1,077 tons builders measurement.

Used for harbour service from Feb-1837.

Broken up at Deptford by 20-Feb-1858.

Won the Battle Honour: Cattaro 1814.
