This the second ship to carry the name HMS Arrogant was a third rate, 74-gun, ship-of-the-line.

Built by Barnard of Harwich, launched 22-Jan-1761, 168ft long, 47ft 6in wide and of 1,644 tons builders measurement.

Used as a Sheer Hulk about 1801.

Broken up 1810 at Bombay.

Won the Battle Honour: The Saints 1782.
