This the second ship to carry the name HMS Achilles was a fourth rate, 60-gun ship-of-the-line.

Built by Barnard of Harwich, launched 16-Jul-1757, 154ft long, 42ft 6in wide and of 1,234 tons builders measurement.

Hulked 1780.

Sold 01-Jun-1784.

Won the Battle Honour: Belle Isle 1761.
