This the third ship to carry the name HMS Achates was a 16-gun, brig-sloop.

Originally French (Le Milan), captured 03-Oct-1809, 95ft 6in long, 28ft 6in wide and of 327 tons builders measurement.

Sold 11-Jun-1818.

Won the Battle Honour: Guadeloupe 1810.
