Parthian Class (1929) SS

The six boats of the Parthian Class (1929) of submarines were designed for long endurance operations in the Far East. They were a follow on from the Oberon Class (1927), and were six feet longer.

Four served on the China Station before WW2 and like the Oberon's returned for war service in the Mediterranean.
