This the second ship to carry the name HMS Tyne was a sixth rate, 28-gun, ship.

Built at Woolwich Dockyard, launched 30-Nov-1826, 125ft long, 33ft wide and of 600 tons builders measurement.

Used as a storeship from 1848.

Sold 17-Feb-1862.

Won the Battle Honour: Baltic 1854.
