This the second ship to carry the name HMS Savage was an 8-gun, sloop.

Built at Woolwich Dockyard, launched 24-Mar-1750, 74ft long, 21ft wide and of 144 tons builders measurement.

Wrecked 16-Sep-1776 at Louisburg, Nova Scotia.
