HMS Saracen (1942) SS  (6th)

This the sixth ship to carry the name HMS Saracen was an S Class, group 3, submarine.

Built by Cammell Laird, laid down 16-Jul-1940, launched 16-Feb-1942, and commissioned 27-Jun-1942.

Sunk 18-Aug-1943, by Italian corvettes Minerva and Euterpe off Bastia, Corsica.

Won the Battle Honours: North Sea 1942, Arctic 1942, Mediterranean 1942 and Sicily 1943.
