This the second ship to carry the name HMS Ribble was a River
Class, frigate. Built by Simons, laid down 05-Sep-1941, launched 23-Apr-1943 and completed 25-Jun-1943 . Transferred to the Royal Netherlands Navy on completion and renamed Johan Maurits Van Nassau. Broken up 1959.
