HMS Lord Nelson (1908) BB  (2nd)

    
This the second ship to carry the name HMS Lord Nelson was the name ship of a Class of two battleships.

Built by Palmer laid down May-1905, launched 04-sep-1906 and completed in Jun-1908.

She served initially with the Home Fleet from 1908-13. Then in 1914 became Flagship of the Channel Fleet. Joined the Dardanelles force early in 1915, and remained in the Mediterranean for the rest of WW1.

Sold 04-Jun-1920 and broken up in Germany.

Won the Battle Honour: Dardanelles 1915-16.
