HMS Latona (1940) ML  (4th)

    
This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Latona was a minelayer.

Built by Thorneycroft, launched 20-Aug-1940, 418ft long, 40ft wide, displacing 2,650 tons. Armed with 6 x 4.7in gun and 160 mines.

Sunk 25-Oct-1941 by Italian aircraft off Libya.

Won the Battle Honour: Libya 1941.
