HMS Chaser (1781) (1st)

This the first ship to carry the name HMS Chaser was an
18-gun, sloop. Bought 01-Jan-1781 in the East Indies, 99ft long, 28ft wide and of 320 tons builders measurement. Captured by the French in the By of Bengal 25-Feb-1782. Recaptured Mar-1783. Sold 26-Aug-1784.
