This the first ship to carry the name HMS Biddeford was a sixth rate, 24-gun, ship.

Built by Barrett of Harwich, launched 25-Oct-1695, 93ft long, 25ft wide and of 256 tons builders measurement.

Wrecked at Point Baque 12-Nov-1699.
