This the third ship to carry the name HMS Ambush is the second
Astute Class of nuclear powered attack submarine. Built at BAE Systems of Barrow, laid down 22-Oct-2003, and launched 05-Jan-2011. Carried out her first dive at BAE Systems Cumbria yard 05-Oct-2011. Currently fitting out and expected to commission 2012.
